Waiting for springtime.
Once again there was a wonderful wine tasting evening last September 16th. at the Vinoteca Caballito.
Mr. Pablo Menendez, our young sommelier from Cava & Restaurante Casa Nieto Senetiner, opened the very first red wine bottle of Nieto Malbec 2006 ($22/$28), followed by Don Nicanor Malbec 2004 ($42/$48).
After enjoying these malbec grapes, from the unique zone of Vistalba in Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza, the turn of Cabernet Sauvignon arrived: Nieto Cabernet Sauvignon and Don Nicanor Cabernet Sauvignon 2004.
With the generous home made picada (finger food for those fashionists) two bottles of Nieto Senetiner Extra Brut filled the crystal flute glasses.
There was a surprise raffle between those present and we will be there at the store again on Thursday September 25th at 9:00 PM.
Winery Santa Julia Familia Zucardi will be hosting the wine tasting that night.
Tickets only in advance at the store Vinoteca Caballito: Neuquén st. #681, Buenos Aires. Open from 10:00 Am to 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 8:30 PM.
Don´t miss it!
